Jewels In His Crown Lu Dunbar
The women of Royal Treasure network with each other to learn about stewardship of their treasure, time and talent in ways that bring honor and glory to the Lord. They seek answers
to questions like: "How much do I give, save, invest and live on?" "How do I do giving well?" "Where should I give?" "How do I ethically invest my current
resources to multiply them for the work of the Kingdom?" "How do I balance my head and my heart in giving?" "Is it really important for all of my family to be on the same
page regarding our stewardship?" "What should we know about giving through a foundation?" " How much should I leave my children?"
Symposiums offer an
opportunity to think about these kinds of subjects in depth and to develop a network of resource people. Previous symposiums have changed and enriched lives. Women have gained confidence and
competence as some of the mystery and fear of handling all these "money issues" has been removed. Many have gone on to accomplish things that they had only dreamed about, and
they're having a significant impact in their communities and the world.
The friendships, encouragement and "take-home" value of Royal Treasure symposiums have made them
something not to be missed. We're looking forward to seeing you at the February 24-27 symposium in Atlanta. Please make your reservations today.
About Our Symposium Speakers
The stewardship of each person's unique value in God's plan is the subject Nina Cameron
will share with the women of Royal Treasure. Nina is a woman of prayer and has been actively involved in developing materials to help families and youth. She has extensive speaking experience and promises to be a rich encouragement to all.
June Hunt
is a woman of many talents. She's authored numerous books, toured overseas with the USO, been a guest soloist with Billy Graham Crusades, and founded the Hope For The Heart and Hope In The Night radio programs. June will talk about her personal journey of stewardship and will lead our worship times. June has a contagious love for the Lord and His faithfulness in her life.
There is a "creative spirit within each of us" and C. McNair Wilson
will help us find ways to release it. McNair has worked professionally as an actor, director, teacher, playwright, Disney Imagineer, public speaking coach, author, cartoonist and magician. His presentations are dynamic and bring humor to the subject of creativity.
Gary Moore
was Senior VP of Investments at Paine Webber before forming Gary Moore & Co., Counsel to Ethical and Religious investors. He offers practical Biblical wisdom regarding stewardship and is the author of several books including Ten Golden Rules for Financial Success and End Times Money Management.
Many families are dealing with issues related to family foundations. Jane Siebels-Kilnes
formed Green Cay Asset Management in 1996. She is on the board of a family foundation and has also worked closely with Sir John Templeton and his 14 foundations. Jane has a doctorate in International Economics and has worked as an asset manager of over $3 billion in funds for corporate and public pension plans, foundations, US and off-shore mutual funds, private investment funds and high-net worth individuals.
A panel of young women (all under 30) will discuss stewardship challenges as they face their futures. Sheri Cannon
is a young mom who, along with her husband, is making some unique and quality stewardship choices. Katie Mauldin is a young married woman who is helping her husband through law
school. Mary Naber
is deputy director of research for The Money Channel at crosswalk.com, and the first Harvard graduate with a degree in both Economics and the Comparative Study of Religion. Gregory Simmons
is a senior in high school, active in athletics and a community volunteer.
The care of parents and yourself in ways that honor relationships will be the subject of a breakout
session by Farrar Moore and Sheryl Cook. Sheryl is a graduate of the "Raggedy Ann School" and Farrar is completing her degree in counseling. They have formed
"Caring Resources" as a way of assisting churches and individuals to successfully honor and steward personal relationships with the older generation.
In addition, Royal
Treasure Board Members will facilitate several practical and informative breakout sessions where participants will be able to ask questions in a safe environment.
