How is Royal Treasure Funded?
Royal Treasure is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. We received permanent status from the IRS in March 2002 after the required 5-year examination period. Funding has been received
from several foundations, board members and individuals.
What is your budget?
$138,000, which includes:
- President's salary and benefits
- Two part-time administrative assistants
- Newsletter and other printed matter - mailing of 1500 sent first class
- Annual symposium
- One-day women's forums
- Web site growth and maintenance
- Networking and travel to grow the ministry of Royal Treasure
- Development of educational tools and resources for affluent women
- Annual audit and accounting expenses
- Office supplies and equipment
Our 990's are posted on the web at Guidestar.org. You'll note that we are a debt free ministry-and intend to stay that way!
Does the annual symposium make money and cover additional budget items?
The symposium breaks even on a direct cost basis. Our goal is to expand the Royal Treasure network, and we don't want to set a price so high that women who haven't attended before
might be reluctant to try us out. Board members cover all their own costs of attending, in addition to generously supporting the ministry. Most speakers donate their time, and some pay their
own expenses as well as symposium fee.
How do you make known the needs of Royal Treasure?
Royal Treasure does not have a development department and does not send out broad fund raising appeals. The Lord has been faithful in providing the resources for our work, and we
trust Him for our present and our future. We try to make our needs known in the newsletter, at symposiums and through personal requests to selected individuals and foundations. We invite you
to become an "investor" in the ministry of Royal Treasure.
