Approximately seven years ago, the paths of a number of women came together and a dream began to become a reality. God was leading toward the creation of a safe environment where women
could learn to be confident and competent in the investing of their treasure, time and talent for the Kingdom. Royal Treasure has grown from early beginnings until today when many
women are being blessed by the relationships and resources it generates.
Royal Treasure has an outstanding Board of Directors. They come with many different gifts, talents, and
personalities. They bring a rich heritage, a great love for the Lord, great wisdom, and a joy in giving that surpasses any other group of women that I know. My heart and my head overflow with
appreciation and joy for the team the Lord has brought together to serve the growing community of women who make up Royal Treasure. It is so true that "you use steel to sharpen steel,
and one friend sharpens another," (Proverbs 27:17)
I am pleased to announce the election of Gail Berger as Board Chair. Karol Emmerich, Board Chair since the inception of Royal
Treasure, will serve as Secretary/Treasurer.
As I began the assignment God invited me to live - envisioning this organization and inspiring others to see the need -
Karol came along side, advising, encouraging, mentoring and opening doors for us. She has supported Royal Treasure with her treasure, time and talent, and encouraged others to do the same. And she has been a great resource for women to learn about wise giving and has encouraged many to just have the fun of giving money away. The lives of Royal Treasure women are much richer because of her dedication and faithful service.
PRAISE
-For faithful intercessors and financial supporters who give of their time, treasure and talent to enable Royal Treasure to respond to God's invitations.
-For the Board of Directors
who continue to give of their wisdom, abilities and resources to educate and equip women to experience the fun of giving.
-For the talent and giftedness of Tammie Lynne Smith who
has "distilled" the many pages of the research survey to give us a "first look" at the Royal Treasure women and their interest in giving. To the best of our knowledge
this is the first time Christian women have been surveyed regarding their finances.
-Praise for a debt free ministry and God's continued favor.
-Praise for those who faithfully give financial support to Royal Treasure.
PRAYER
-Pray for God's wisdom and discernment for the Board of Directors during their Board Retreat, August 8-9.
-Pray for Gail Berger in her new leadership role as Board Chair.
-Pray for the women's luncheon in Orange County, CA in early June.
