"Well done, My daughter."
LaVerne Gryte
"To make God look good and to make Christ well known" is the mission of LaVerne Gryte, Royal Treasure board member, business woman and speaker. She has been thrilled
this past year to see accomplished every one of her desires that she put before God, including some that she had prayed about for years. Though her cancer is once again active, she wants to
redeem the time, investing herself and her money in others so that there will be more friends for her to welcome into heaven. Luke 16:8-9
Her message for us is to "ask God to
give you unconditional love for the difficult people in your life. Ask Him to show you the good in them and let Him use you to reach out to them." In her life, God was speaking to her
about establishing family business meetings. No one else was interested and she knew that, unless the Holy Spirit worked in their lives, it would not happen. God wants to move us on to the
end which He has in mind and wants us to experience victory, but in His way and His time. It took two years, but the family business meetings were established and many relationships healed.
When God directs a person to be involved in someone's life, He always prepares their hearts. Don't abdicate the role that God wants you to play. Go where there's no light to be the
light.
Looking ahead, LaVerne wonders, "Will I be able to allow God's grace to be enough. It is not for us to choose our path or our platform. I know that I will live in God's
love and grace and He will turn my cup of suffering into a cup of joy." Pray for her as she comes to mind.
While LaVerne's daughter's heart is heavy with the anticipation of her
mother's death, what a testimony to God's love and care she is able to give. "Just as I helped my mother prepare for a trip we took a few years ago, I will help her prepare for this
journey." Both are confident that they will be reunited eventually in the glorious presence of their Savior.
